ABOUT ME
Community-responsive research holds scientists and policy makers accountable for decisions that affect everyday people. In my current work, I talk with communities across the U.S. about their hopes for the future, the challenges they face, how they address them in their own lives, and how their concerns fit into a constantly changing climate, economy, and policy landscape. From land management, to redistricting, to biotech innovations, I am broadly interested in how relationships between science, technology, and politics shape the world we live in.
